Well this is more or less like "Apple Advertising Siri Gimmick". Nokia 808 PureView probably has a 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor (41 megapixel is impossible due to current technology constraints), which upscales using spline interpolation or Gaussian process. This image processing has been deployed several times before since 2005 or even older by point and shoot cameras and especially web cameras. Bottom line the image coming out of the camera is just a processed, upscaled, bloated 12.1 megapixel image.
